Which data is collected and why?
Forms
When you submit personal data via any of our contact forms, your data is stored. This is done so that we can answer your questions or contact you if you register for our newsletters or events.
When it comes to the data stored for our newsletters, there are routines for removing all personal data unless you regularly open our newsletters. Because of this, your personal data will never be stored for longer than you are actively engaging with our newsletter.
Statistics
In order to improve biobanksverige.se, we collect general data when you visit our website. The purpose of this is to get a better understanding of how our website is used in order to improve your user experience and the information provided by us.
The statistical data is stored for one year before being deleted.
Sharing of data with third parties
Biobank Sweden generally don’t share your personal data.
An exception to this is the contact details which you submit to us when you register for our newsletters. We use a Swedish-based third-party solution (Ungapped) for our newsletters to manage and work with our newsletters.
Video platforms
When using video platforms such as Youtube or Vimeo, your data is collected and stored by them and there is nothing Biobank Sweden can do to prevent that.
If you choose to engage with any video content (even if it exists on our website or our learning management system) it is basically the same as if you would visit Youtube’s website directly. Your data is always collected by these third-party video platforms and Biobank Sweden has no legal responsibility regarding this data.
Who is responsible for the data that Biobank Sweden collects?
Region Uppsala is the host organization of Biobank Sweden and is responsible for the handling of personal data on this website and handling of data within Biobank Sweden’s national administration.
If you do not want to share your data
If you for some reason do not want us to store your data for statistical purposes, you can easily choose to opt-out. Visit our ”about cookies” page to learn more.
