Biobank Cohort Forum
New methods for analysing circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) in blood samples are under development. These methods have attracted great commercial and clinical interest for early tumour detection but highlight a gap in biobanking practices today: While most biobanking is moving towards smaller and smaller volumes, analysis of ctDNA typically requires 8-12 ml of plasma. Ensuring sample quality and proper transport is also crucial for accurate ctDNA analysis.
Johan Lindberg, principal researcher at Karolinska Institutet, will share his experiences on the matter followed by an open Q&A and discussion after the talk!
Additional information regarding this webinar will soon be available at our Biobank Cohort Forum-page, in the meanwhile, Save the date!
